JESSICA LANDMON

Practical. Organized. Planner. These are some words that Jessica’s close circle would use to describe her. But, when the Holy Spirit asks her to do something, all that goes out the door. Her prayer each morning is that the Holy Spirit interrupts her plans and that He invites her to participate in His. Jessica founded Women Get Real Ministries in 2014. An ordained pastor, she has ministered to women’s groups for nearly 20 years. Jessica is passionate about helping women find their God-given calling and walk boldly into it. Jessica was named as a 2016 Forty Under 40 Honoree by WomensMinistry.net. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from The University of Connecticut and a degree in Biblical Studies from Christian Leadership University. Jessica is happily married to her high school sweetheart, Chad, and is blessed with two beautiful children. Jessica and her husband have recently become empty nesters and are navigating this new season of life.

SHILA ANDERSON

Shila has been happily married to the love of her life, Kip, for over 20 years, and they have two awesome children. Shila holds a special place in her heart for teens and young adults, especially since her years of serving alongside her husband as a Youth Leader. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Bryant University, a degree in Biblical Studies from Christian Leadership University, and is currently running her own bookkeeping business. In her free time, Shila loves vacationing with her family, reading a good mystery by the pool, and laughing with friends. Shila is a self-professed recovering sugar addict and feels called to work with women to help break the stronghold of addiction in their lives.

Rachel Axtmann

Rachel loves to create beautiful spaces, organize, teach, and mentor young women in their journey of faith. Some of her favorite hobbies include working on her flower garden, listening to worship music, taking walks, shopping at Marshalls, and sipping oat milk lattes. She has been married to Peter for 20 years and is a mom to four children. She holds a Masters Degree in education from Springfield College with a focus in Elementary Education and Administration. She taught second grade for several years followed by a career in higher education at Bay Path University. After being blessed with her first child, Rachel began to turn her focus to ministry and had the awesome opportunity to be part of the core team that founded New Day Church in 2008. Since the start of New Day, Rachel has served in several ministry roles within the church including partnering with her husband Peter to serve as Associate Pastor. Presently, Rachel’s primary focus is homeschooling three of her children, working as an interior designer, and taking every opportunity to meet with, listen to, encourage, and pour into the lives of young women in her faith community.

Wendy Meza

Wendy grew up in the plains of Colorado in a small farm town called Sterling. Since giving her life to Jesus at 11 years old, she continued to serve the Lord any way she could. She attended Bible college overseas at Domata School of Missions where she began working with a small group of Chilean children and discovered that she had a gift to help the younger generation learn about Jesus in fun and exciting ways. Since returning from Chile in 2006, she has devoted the past 15 years to children’s ministry in Colorado, New York, and Connecticut. She married her husband JC in 2017 and now has two beautiful children. Wendy and her husband spent the last eight years as Pastors in their local church, serving youth and children. She longs to see God move greatly in the days to come, all over the world, but especially here in New England.
